Props

We didn't use many props in our clip, and when we did, they were either household items or a few items of clothing.

A list of the props we used in our clip:

1 Plate, 1 Knife, a Kettle,  a mug, a picture, a chair, a table, some scarves representing a football team and a flat screen TV.

Props are an important aspect of films, they can help the actors tell the story in more detail, they can also be used to represent the character or to tell us more about them e.g a picture of the character and his familiy can tell us what he has lost/to lose, or war medals can tell us the horrors he/she has seen.

Costumes

This aspect of our clip was quite important as the actors needed to look the part. We asked our actors to wear casual or urban clothing, or even the colours of a local football team. We asked this because the theme of our film was the violence that existed between fans of rival teams e.g Nottingham Forest and Notts County. On the day we started filming, there was an obvious trend, Hoodies, it worked though, as when everyone put their hoods up, you couldn't see their faces, making them look more dangerous.

Actors

For our film we had to decide who we wanted in the film, so we went about asking anyone and everyone if they would be willing to appear in our short clip. In the end we only got 3 people to 'star' in our clip that were not a part of our group.
Our actors were:

Jake Afford, Harry Smith, Harry Edwards, Joe Clough, Ben Hall, Evan Jones (I believe) and myself.

Out of those actors, Ben, Jake and Evan were the three actors who were not part of our team originally.

Jake and Evan acted in the night time scene with Harry S, Harry E, Joe and myself, where two groups were approaching eachother and Ben acted in the house scene aswell as Harry Smith and Joe. Harry Edwards was behind the camera with me during the house scene, helping plan out the shots.
